Plot
This exciting comic series tells the story of how these two powerful teams met and worked together.
A Strange Trip
The adventure begins when Lord Zedd attacks the Command Center of the Power Rangers. Zack, the Black Ranger, tries to teleport himself and Zordon to safety. But a fake Alpha 5, secretly holding a bomb, destroys the teleportation device. This causes the teleportation to go wrong. Zack, Lord Zedd, and Zedd's Putty army are all sent to a different dimension.
In this new world, a "dark and familiar figure" (who turns out to be Batman) sees them arrive. The other Power Rangers follow the same coordinates to find Zack. They end up stranded in the DC Universe, a world full of amazing superheroes. This new world also has villains who are almost as strong as the monsters Rita and Zedd create.
New Friends, New Enemies
Soon after arriving, the Power Rangers meet six members of the Justice League. These heroes are Batman, Flash, Superman, Green Lantern, Cyborg, and Wonder Woman. As they try to figure out what happened, alarms go off all over the world. Monsters are attacking!
It turns out Lord Zedd has teamed up with Brainiac, a super-smart villain. They have formed a powerful alliance. Brainiac has given Lord Zedd creatures from his collection of "bottled" habitats. Lord Zedd then turns these into six giant, octopus-like monsters. He unleashes them on every populated continent.
Fighting Together
To stop this new threat, the Power Rangers and Justice League members split up. A Ranger joins a Justice League hero at each monster attack location. However, two unexpected things happen. First, the teleporters on the Justice League's Watchtower base are hacked and broken. Second, Brainiac's small robots sneak into the Rangers' Zord vehicles. They steal the Rangers' communicators and power coins. Then, the Zords teleport away, leaving the Rangers without their powers or a way home.
A Shocking Discovery
The Power Rangers are sad about losing their powers and their only way back. But Billy, the Blue Ranger, gets an idea. He thinks they can use a special machine called a Higgs-Boson collider to open a portal back to their own universe. With the help of the Justice League, both teams succeed in traveling through the portal.
However, they find a terrible scene waiting for them. The full plan of Zedd and Brainiac is revealed. Brainiac agreed to help Zedd defeat the Power Rangers. In return, Zedd offered two things. First, their home city, Angel Grove, would become part of Brainiac's collection of cities from destroyed planets. Second, Brainiac would shrink Zordon and the Command Center. In exchange, Brainiac would get Alpha-5, the only other machine known to have true feelings.
