Justin Haber, born on June 9, 1981, is a professional football player from Malta. He plays as a goalkeeper. He currently plays for Żabbar St. Patrick. He also used to play for the Malta national football team.
Justin Haber's Football Journey
Starting at Floriana
Justin Haber was born in Floriana, Malta. He began his football journey with the local team, Floriana F.C.. He played 23 games for them over three years. During this time, he also went on loan to a Bulgarian team called Dobrudzha Dobrich. A "loan" means he played for another team for a short time.
Playing for Birkirkara
In 2002, Justin joined Birkirkara. He stayed with this club until 2005. He was a very important player for the team. He played in 74 matches for Birkirkara.
Moving to France with US Quevilly
Later in 2005, Haber moved to France. He joined a team called US Quevilly. He played 27 games for this French club.
Back in Malta with Marsaxlokk
In 2006, Justin returned to Malta. He joined Marsaxlokk for the 2006–07 season. He helped this small team achieve something amazing. They won their first ever Maltese Championship title!
Playing in Greece for Haidari
In June 2007, Justin Haber signed a two-year contract. He joined a Greek team called Haidari FC. This club is located near Athens. They play in the Greek Second Division.
Time with Sheffield United
In July 2008, Haber joined Sheffield United in England. He signed a two-year deal with them. He had tried out for the team before. However, the manager at that time did not offer him a contract. In August 2009, he went on loan to Ferencváros. This team is a "sister club" to Sheffield United.
Joining Ferencváros in Hungary
In January of the next year, Justin signed a contract with Ferencváros. He became a regular player for the team. In the 2010–11 season, he helped his team finish in third place. This gave them a chance to play in the Europa League.
Back to Greece with Kerkyra
On July 5, 2011, Haber signed a two-year deal. He joined Kerkyra, a club in the Greek Super League.
Returning to Birkirkara
In 2012, Justin came back to Malta. He rejoined Birkirkara to play for them again.
Beyond Football: Restaurant Owner
On February 20, 2020, Justin Haber's restaurant was featured on a TV show. His restaurant, called Haber 16, appeared on the Netflix series Restaurants on the Edge.
