Justin Neville Norris (born 4 June 1980) is an Australian swimmer. He is famous for winning a bronze medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Justin was a strong competitor in both the butterfly and individual medley swimming styles. He is also the father of Sabre Norris, a well-known X-Games athlete.

Early Life and Training
Justin Norris grew up in Stockton, New South Wales, Australia. In 1999, he received a special scholarship. This allowed him to move to the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. This institute is a top training center for athletes. Thanks to this training, he was chosen to represent Australia. His first big international event was the 1999 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Sydney.
Swimming Career Highlights
Justin Norris competed in his first Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000. He had a tough start, missing out on the final for the 400-meter individual medley. However, he made it to the final for the 200-meter butterfly. Many people thought he was an underdog, meaning he wasn't expected to win a medal.
Olympic Bronze Medal
In the 200-meter butterfly final, Justin started very fast. He was even leading for the first half of the race. The home crowd cheered him on loudly. He managed to hold on and finished in third place, earning a bronze medal. After the race, a very surprised Justin was interviewed. He famously kept saying, "I'm stoked!" This phrase became his winning catchphrase. It means he was extremely happy and excited.
World and Commonwealth Success
Justin continued his success after the Olympics. In 2001, he won another bronze medal. This was at the 2001 World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. This time, it was in the 200-meter individual medley.
The year 2002 was especially good for Justin. At the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, he won three gold medals! He took gold in the 200-meter individual medley, the 400-meter individual medley, and the 200-meter butterfly. These wins showed he was one of the best swimmers in the world.
Later in his career, Justin faced some challenges. He did not win medals at the 2003 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona. He also didn't reach any finals at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Despite these challenges, his earlier achievements remain very impressive.
