Justin M. Warner (born February 11, 1984) is a famous American chef, cookbook author, and TV star. He is most well-known for winning the eighth season of the TV show Food Network Star. Justin also wrote a cookbook called The Laws of Cooking: And How to Break Them. He even hosts a show called Eat the Universe on marvel.com, where he creates dishes inspired by Marvel characters!

Early Life and Inspiration
Justin Warner was born on February 11, 1984, in Hagerstown, Maryland. His mom, Jan, was a schoolteacher. His dad was a psychiatrist.
When Justin was young, he loved learning new things. In 1998, he was a finalist in the National Spelling Bee. This is a huge competition where kids spell very difficult words!
Justin did not go to a special cooking school. He learned to cook on his own. His dad was a big inspiration for him to start cooking.

Justin Warner has been on many TV shows. Most of them are on the Food Network channel.
First TV Appearance
In August 2010, Justin appeared on a show called 24 Hour Restaurant Battle. He was with his girlfriend at the time, J.J. Pyle. They won the episode! Their idea was to open a brunch restaurant. However, the restaurant never actually opened.
Winning Food Network Star
In 2012, Justin became a contestant on the eighth season of Food Network Star. This show is a competition to find the next big TV chef. Justin's mentor on the show was the famous chef Alton Brown.
It's funny, but Justin didn't even own a TV! So, he had never watched the show before he joined. He made it to the final four contestants. He even filmed a test show called Rebel with a Culinary Cause. In the end, he won the whole competition!
After he won, Justin debuted a one-hour special on Food Network. It was called Rebel Eats. In 2014, he also became a judge on Guy's Grocery Games.
Chef and Business Owner
Justin Warner has owned and worked at several restaurants. He was a co-owner of Do or Dine restaurant in Bed-Stuy, New York. This restaurant closed in 2015.
In 2021, Justin and his wife, Brooke, opened a new restaurant. It's called "Bokujo Ramen" and is in Rapid City, South Dakota. They love Japanese food, and they use local ingredients to make their dishes special.
ChefShock Online Show
Starting in 2016, Justin Warner began a new cooking show online. It's on a website called Twitch.tv and is called ChefShock. He cooks live from his home kitchen. Viewers can cook along with him and ask questions. It's a fun way to learn how to cook!
