Kelechi "KC" Ohaebosim, born on December 27, 1978, is an American politician with Nigerian roots. He has been a member of the Kansas House of Representatives since 2017. He represents the 89th district, which includes parts of Wichita, Kansas. As a representative, he helps make laws for the state of Kansas.

About KC Ohaebosim
KC Ohaebosim was born in 1978. His father, Dr. Linus Ohaebosim, was born in Nigeria and became a doctor. Dr. Ohaebosim delivered many babies during his 41-year career. He completed some of his special medical training in Kansas City. Later, he started his medical practice in Wichita. KC's mother is a registered nurse, and he has four brothers and sisters.
His School Days
KC Ohaebosim started his schooling in Nigeria. He later attended Wichita High School in Kansas. After high school, he went to Wichita State University. While in college, he joined a club called Alpha Phi Alpha. This was an African-American fraternity, which is a social organization for college students. In 2005, he earned a degree in business administration from Newman University in Wichita.

KC Ohaebosim is a member of the Democratic Party. He works to represent the people of his district in the Kansas government.
Running for the Kansas State Senate
In 2008, KC Ohaebosim first tried to become a member of the Kansas Senate. The Senate is one part of the state's law-making body. He ran in the Democratic primary election.
