Kamera Island is a small island mostly covered in ice, found in the cold region of Antarctica. It is about 778 meters long (like walking for half a mile) and 278 meters wide (about a quarter of a mile). The island is part of the Vedel Islands group, which belongs to the larger Wilhelm Archipelago. Its name comes from the Bulgarian word kamera, meaning 'camera', because its shape looks a bit like a TV camera.
