Kormoran Island (which means "cormorant island" in Bulgarian) is a rocky island located in Antarctica. It's mostly free of ice and is part of the Vedel Islands group within the Wilhelm Archipelago. This group of islands is found near the Antarctic Peninsula.
The island is about 848 meters (2,782 feet) long from north to south and 705 meters (2,313 feet) wide from west to east. Its total area is around 36.7 hectares (about 90 acres). Kormoran Island got its name because its shape supposedly looks like a cormorant, which is a type of seabird.

Kormoran Island is located at coordinates 65°08′17″S 64°14′50″W / 65.13806°S 64.24722°W. It is situated in the icy waters of Antarctica.
The island is:
- 4.72 kilometers (about 2.9 miles) northwest of Petermann Island.
- 80 meters (about 262 feet) southeast of Kamera Island.
- 160 meters (about 525 feet) southwest of Pate Island.
British explorers mapped this area in 2001.
