Kameran "Kamie" Crawford, born on October 25, 1992, is an American television host and model. She is well-known for being a host on TV shows and for her work as a model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. Kamie also won the title of Miss Teen USA in 2010. She was a co-host for Catfish: The TV Show and has hosted other popular shows like Are You the One? and Ex On The Beach. She also has her own podcast where she gives advice.

Kamie's Early Life and School
Kamie Crawford was born in Cleveland, Ohio. When she was young, her family moved to Maryland. She finished high school at Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland in 2010. While in high school, she was the captain of her cheerleading team.
Before she won Miss Teen USA, Kamie was chosen for a special medical program at Georgetown University. In September 2010, she started taking classes at the New York Film Academy. She also took some basic classes at a local college.
Kamie first went to college at The University of Alabama. She planned to study medicine and become a dermatologist. Later, she moved to Fordham University. She graduated in 2015 with a degree in communications. Her studies focused on television and digital media. While in college, Kamie started her career in TV hosting.

Winning Pageant Titles
Kamie Crawford won her first pageant, Miss Maryland Teen USA 2010, on November 1, 2009. She trained for five months for this competition. A friend who had competed before encouraged her to try. Kamie also won the Miss Photogenic award at this pageant.
On July 24, 2010, Kamie represented Maryland in the Miss Teen USA 2010 pageant. She made history by being the first person from Maryland to win this national title. Kamie was also the fourth Black person to win Miss Teen USA. Other winners included Janel Bishop in 1991 and Ashley Coleman in 1999.
Modeling Career
In 2013, Kamie Crawford signed with JAG Models. In 2022, she was recognized as one of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Rookies. She has been featured in the magazine for three years in a row. In 2024, she appeared in Sports Illustrated's 60th Anniversary Swimsuit Issue. Kamie also walked in their famous runway show during Miami Swim Week in 2023 and 2024.
Television Hosting Roles
In 2018, Kamie started as a rotating host for Catfish on MTV. She joined other hosts like singer Elle King and actress Kimiko Glenn. In 2019, she became a permanent co-host for the show. Kamie announced she was leaving the show in October 2024 after six years.
Kamie also hosted the reunion episode for Issa Rae's reality show Sweet Life: Los Angeles. In 2022, she signed a deal with MTV Entertainment Studios. Since then, she has hosted Are You the One? on Paramount+ and Ex on the Beach on MTV.
Podcast Adventures
In September 2021, Kamie Crawford started her own podcast. It is called "Relationsh*t with Kamie Crawford" and offers relationship advice. The Today Show named it one of the 17 best podcasts for women. In 2024, Kamie was featured in the LA Woman issue of Los Angeles Magazine.
Kamie's Family Life
Kamie Crawford is the daughter of Victor and Carla Crawford. She is the oldest of six girls. Her sisters are Milan, Victoria, Karynton, and twins Kenadi and Kendal.
