History of Kampeska
The community of Kampeska was officially planned and mapped out in 1883. This process is called "platting." The name "Kampeska" comes from the nearby Lake Kampeska, a beautiful lake in the area. For many years, Kampeska had its own post office, but it closed down in 1928.
