The Sweet History of Kandit
Kandit started a long time ago, in 1920. Its first name was "Prva osječka tvornica kandita Kaiser i Stark". They got a special permission from a chocolate factory in Vienna. This allowed them to start making chocolate, wafers, and other candies.
Growing Bigger and Better
Kandit made a lot of sweets in the 1960s. They were part of Yugoslavia back then. In just one year, they made over 6,000 tonnes of bonbons! That's a lot of candy. In 2009, Kandit opened a new part of their factory. This new section had modern machines and ways of making sweets.
