How Kane Brewing Started
Kane Brewing was founded by a person named Michael Kane. His journey began when he was 22 years old. He enjoyed making his own drinks at home, a hobby called homebrewing. He wanted to recreate a special German or Belgian style drink he had tried during a college trip.

Michael's homebrewing skills were really good! In 2009, he won gold and silver medals at a big event called the National Homebrew Competition. This success made him think about turning his hobby into a real business. He started researching how to open his own brewery.

After working there for four years, he decided to follow his dream. He quit his job in 2011 to open Kane Brewing in a building that used to be a casket shop.
