Karen Plankton is a super smart computer character from the popular cartoon show SpongeBob SquarePants. She lives in a place called the Chum Bucket laboratory. Karen is married to Plankton, and she often helps him try to steal the secret Krabby Patty formula from the Krusty Krab. Her name is actually based on Stephen Hillenburg's wife, Karen Hillenburg, who helped create the show!
Who is Karen Plankton?
Karen is not just any computer; she is a waterproof supercomputer! She is Plankton's best friend and partner in crime. She helps him with his many plans to get the Krabby Patty formula. Even though Plankton's plans usually fail, Karen is always there to help him think of new ideas.
Karen's First Appearance
Karen first appeared in the SpongeBob SquarePants episode called "Plankton!" This episode aired on July 31, 1999. Since then, she has been a regular character in the show, always by Plankton's side.
