Karl-Heinz Bürger (born February 16, 1904 – died December 2, 1988) was a German official during a difficult time in history. He held important positions in the police and security forces during the period of the Nazi Party government.

Early Life and Career

Karl-Heinz Bürger joined a political group called the SA in June 1923. He also took part in an event known as the Beer Hall Putsch in November of that same year. From 1924 to 1925, he studied at the University of Potsdam. In 1927, Bürger became a member of the Nazi Party. In 1933, he moved from the SA group to another group called the SS.

Leadership Roles

In August 1942, Bürger was given a leadership role. He became the leader for police and security in the North Caucasus region. Later, he also became a police leader for Volhynia and central Italy. He held several different positions in these areas. On May 13, 1945, he was taken into custody in Bolzano.

Later Life

Karl-Heinz Bürger passed away in December 1988 in Karlsbad.
