Karol Linetty, born on February 2, 1995, is a talented Polish professional footballer. He plays as a midfielder, which means he helps both defend and attack on the field.
Karol started his professional football journey at Lech Poznań in Poland. Later, he moved to Italy, playing for Sampdoria and then Torino. He has also proudly represented his home country, Poland, in international matches.

Karol Linetty's Club Career
Starting at Lech Poznań
Karol Linetty joined the main team of Lech Poznań in 2012. He played his first game on November 2, 2012. He came into the game as a substitute in the 60th minute against Wisła Kraków.
Playing in Italy
In July 2016, Karol moved to Italy to play for Serie A club Sampdoria. He signed a five-year contract with the team. He played over 100 games for Sampdoria during his time there.
In September 2020, Linetty joined Torino for about €7.5 million. He signed a four-year contract with them. On November 13, 2023, he scored his first goal for Torino in a match against Roma. Karol extended his contract with Torino until June 30, 2025. He left Torino when his contract ended in June 2025.
Karol Linetty's International Career
Karol Linetty made his first appearance for the Polish senior team on January 18, 2014. In that game against Norway, he scored a goal, helping Poland win 3–0.
He was chosen to be part of the Polish squad for the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament. In June 2018, Linetty was also selected for Poland's 23-player team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia. He has played many games for Poland, scoring several goals for his country.
