Kasabonika Lake First Nation, also known as Kasabonika First Nation, is a community of the Oji-Cree people in Ontario, Canada. It is located north of a town called Sioux Lookout. This community is quite special because there are no roads leading to it! The only way to get there is by flying into the Kasabonika Airport.
Kasabonika Lake First Nation is part of a larger group of First Nations called the Shibogama First Nations Council and the Nishnawbe Aski Nation. The land for the First Nation is called the Kasabonika Lake Reserve, and it is about 10,806.5 hectares (or 26,703 acres) big. In September 2007, there were 914 registered people in the First Nation, with 866 of them living on the reserve.
