Katarzyna "Kasia" Adamik (born December 28, 1972) is a talented Polish director and storyboard artist. She helps create movies and TV shows. Kasia has directed many TV series, including 1983 and Absentia. Her first feature film as a director, Bark!, was shown at the famous Sundance Film Festival.
Kasia Adamik and Olga Chajdas won an award for Best TV Show. They received this honor at the Polish Film Awards for directing the drama The Pack. A magazine called Hollywood Reporter named her one of Poland's most important directors. She worked on the thrilling series 1983, which was Netflix's very first original show from Poland.

Kasia Adamik was born in Warsaw, Poland. Her mother is the well-known Polish film director Agnieszka Holland. Her father is Laco Adamík, an opera director from Slovakia. Kasia also has an aunt, Magdalena Łazarkiewicz, who is a film director too.
Kasia studied graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. This education helped her develop her artistic skills.
