Katarzyna "Kasia" Adamik, born on December 28, 1972, is a director and storyboard artist from Poland. She has directed TV shows like 1983, Axis Mundi, and Absentia. Her first movie as a director, Bark!, was shown at the Sundance Film Festival. Kasia Adamik and Olga Chajdas won an award for Best TV Show for directing the drama The Pack. A Hollywood Reporter article called her one of Poland's top directors. She worked on the thriller series 1983, which was Netflix's first original Polish show.
About Kasia Adamik
Kasia Adamik was born in Warsaw, Poland. Her mother is the famous Polish film director Agnieszka Holland. Her father is Laco Adamík, an opera director from Slovakia. Kasia's aunt, Magdalena Łazarkiewicz, is also a film director.
Kasia studied graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. This education helped her develop her artistic skills.
