Katarina Van Derham (born Katarina Ambrusova on December 11, 1975) is a Slovak-American model, actress, and business owner. She is famous for creating Viva Glam Magazine and for her acting roles.

Katarina has been on the cover of more than 60 magazines around the world. She has also appeared in many TV commercials for big brands like Pepsi, Nike, and Dodge Ram. As a successful entrepreneur, she has been featured in major publications like Forbes. She has also acted in movies such as Unbelievable!!!!!, Crypto Heads, and Team Havnaa.

Early Life and Background

Katarina Van Derham was born in a town called Ľubochňa in what is now Slovakia. In 1998, when she was 22 years old, she moved to the United States with only $500. She has been a vegetarian or vegan since she was 18 years old.

In her personal life, Katarina was married to James Michael Bilella. They later divorced.

Career as a Model and Actress

Starting in Modeling

Katarina's modeling career began by chance in 2002. A photographer noticed her while she was working as a waitress in Santa Monica, California. The next year, she was named the "Fresh Face" by Femme Fatale magazine.

She became a popular model, appearing on over 60 magazine covers. She was also a spokesmodel for several famous brands. For two years, she was the face of the St. Pauli brand, and she also played the Snow Queen in commercials for Coors.

Acting Roles

Katarina has also had a successful acting career. She played Bob Saget's girlfriend in an episode of the TV show Entourage.

She has acted in several movies. In the film Unbelievable!!!!!, she played Captain Cheryl Stillwood. She also appeared in the movies Crypto Heads and Team Havnaa.

Viva Glam Magazine

In 2012, Katarina started her own online magazine called Viva Glam Magazine. The magazine features articles about fashion, beauty, health, travel, and food. It focuses on living an ethical and conscious lifestyle, inspired by classic Hollywood glamour. By 2016, the magazine was getting 4.5 million views each month.

In 2013, Viva Glam Magazine released its first printed issue. The cover featured Canadian model Ashley Diana Morris.

Online Shows

Viva Glam Magazine also produces online shows. One is a docu-series called The 90s Girl, which gives a look into Katarina's life and the team behind the magazine.

In 2018, Katarina began producing another web series called Models Talk. She co-hosts the show with Candace Kita.

Cosmetics Line

On February 1, 2018, Katarina launched her own makeup collection. She worked with the brand LA Splash to create a limited edition liquid lipstick collection called “Glamour Garden”.

The collection included four special colors:
