Kate Valdez, born on August 21, 2000, is a talented Filipino actress, singer, model, and content creator. Her full name is Keith Eliana Habala Sisante. She became well-known for her roles in TV shows like Encantadia, Onanay, and Unica Hija.

In September 2024, Kate and her boyfriend, Fumiya Sankai, started a TikTok page together called Onigiri Lovers. They also share vlogs on YouTube under the same name.

Kate Valdez was born in Trece Martires, Cavite, Philippines. Her parents are Edmond and Teresita Habala-Sisante. Kate is currently studying at Miriam College.

Modeling Beginnings

Kate Valdez started her career as a model when she was still in elementary school. She also joined many amateur beauty pageants. It was during school plays that Kate discovered she loved acting.

Acting Roles

In 2015, Kate signed a contract with GMA Artist Center. Soon after, she appeared in the TV show Destiny Rose as Violet Vitto Jacobs.

In 2016, Kate joined the popular fantasy series Encantadia. She played the role of Mira, who is the daughter of Pirena. This role was first played by Yasmien Kurdi in the original series.

In 2018, Kate played Natalie in the show Onanay. Natalie was a villain in the story. She also played Caitlyn in Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday. Caitlyn was an envious character in that show.

Kate has appeared in many other shows on GMA Network. She is also a TV commercial model for different brands. In late 2022, she took on a special dual role in the sci-fi drama Unica Hija. She played Hope Marasigan, who was a "clone" of Bianca Sebastian.

In 2023, it was announced that Kate would star in an adaptation of the American comic book series Dreamwalker. She will play the main character, Kat. The director for this project is Mikhail Red.

Personal Life

As of 2024, Kate Valdez is dating Japanese vlogger Fumiya Sankai. They have a "semi-long-distance" relationship. Fumiya mostly lives in Japan but visits the Philippines once a month.
