Kate Valdez (born on August 21, 2000) is a talented Filipino actress, singer-songwriter, and model. Her full name is Keith Eliana Habala Sisante. She is also known as a content creator, making videos and posts online.

Kate became well-known for her roles in popular TV shows. She played Violet in Destiny Rose (2015) and Mira in Encantadia (2016). She also starred as Natalie / Rosemarie in Onanay (2018) and Caitlyn in Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday (2020). More recently, she played Bianca / Hope in Unica Hija (2022) and Inna in Shining Inheritance (2024).

In September 2024, Kate and her boyfriend, Fumiya Sankai, started a joint TikTok page called Onigiri Lovers. They also share vlogs on YouTube under the same name.

Kate Valdez was born in Trece Martires, Cavite, Philippines. Her parents are Edmond and Teresita Habala-Sisante.

Starting as a Model

Kate began her career as a model when she was still in elementary school. She also joined many amateur beauty pageants. It was during school plays that she discovered her love for acting.

Acting Journey

In 2015, Kate Valdez signed a contract with GMA Artist Center. Soon after, she appeared in the TV series Destiny Rose, playing the character Violet Vitto Jacobs.

In 2016, Kate joined the cast of the popular fantasy series Encantadia. She took on the role of Mira, who is the daughter of Pirena. This role was originally played by Yasmien Kurdi in the past.

In 2018, Kate played Natalie, a strong and sometimes difficult character, in the show Onanay. She also played Caitlyn in Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday. Caitlyn was the daughter of Sussie and often felt jealous.

Kate has appeared in many other shows on GMA Network. She is also a model for various local brands in TV commercials.

In late 2022, she took on a challenging dual role in the sci-fi drama Unica Hija. She played Hope Marasigan, who was a clone of Bianca Sebastian.

In 2023, Variety magazine announced exciting news. A studio called 108 Media decided to make a TV show based on the American comic book series Dreamwalker. Kate Valdez was chosen to play the main character, Kat. She was even the inspiration for how the character looked in the comics. Mikhail Red is set to direct this new series.

In 2024, Kate played the main character, Inna Villarazon, in the Philippine TV series Shining Inheritance.

Personal Life

As of 2024, Kate Valdez is dating Japanese vlogger Fumiya Sankai. They have a "semi-long-distance" relationship. Fumiya mostly lives in Japan but visits the Philippines about once a month.
