Katia Loritz was born in St. Gallen, Switzerland. After finishing her first studies there, she moved to Munich. In Munich, she studied dramatic arts, which means she learned how to act.
Starting Her Acting Career
In the mid-1950s, Katia moved to Spain. Soon after, she began her Spanish movie career. Her first film was Las manos sucias (1957). Her next movie was Las chicas de la Cruz Roja (1958), directed by Rafael J. Salvia. This film was very popular and did well at the box office.
Beyond Acting
Besides acting, Katia Loritz also loved to paint. In her later years, she showed her paintings in art exhibits. She was a professional artist.
Katia Loritz passed away in Madrid on August 16, 2015.
