Kazuhiro Suzuki (鈴木 和裕, Suzuki Kazuhiro, born November 16, 1976) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender, which means his main job was to stop the other team from scoring goals.

Kazuhiro Suzuki's Football Journey

Kazuhiro Suzuki was born in Tokyo, Japan, on November 16, 1976. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career in 1995.

Playing for JEF United Ichihara

Suzuki joined JEF United Ichihara in 1995. He played in many matches during his first few years with the team. He stayed with JEF United Ichihara until the year 2000.

Moving to Kyoto Purple Sanga

In 2001, Suzuki moved to Kyoto Purple Sanga. Here, he played in many games and helped his team achieve a big win. In 2002, Kyoto Purple Sanga won the 2002 Emperor's Cup, which was their first major championship title! He played for Kyoto Purple Sanga until 2006.

Final Years with Mito HollyHock

By 2006, Suzuki wasn't playing as much. So, in 2007, he joined Mito HollyHock. He continued to play for this team until the end of the 2009 season, when he decided to retire from professional football.

Playing for Japan

Kazuhiro Suzuki also had the chance to play for Japan's national youth teams.

Japan U-17 National Team

In August 1993, Suzuki was chosen to play for the Japan U-17 national team. He played in the 1993 FIFA U-17 World Championship, which is a big tournament for young players from around the world. He played every minute of all four matches for his team.

Japan U-20 National Team

Later, in April 1995, he was selected for the Japan U-20 national team. He played in the 1995 FIFA World Youth Championship. Just like with the U-17 team, he played in all four matches, showing his skill as a left defender.
