Kazuma Watanabe (渡邉 千真, Watanabe Kazuma, born 10 August 1986) is a Japanese professional footballer. He is known for playing as a forward, which means he's usually trying to score goals for his team! He currently plays for Matsumoto Yamaga FC in Japan's J3 League.
Kazuma has played for several big teams in Japan, including Yokohama F. Marinos, FC Tokyo, Vissel Kobe, and Gamba Osaka. His older brother, Daigo Watanabe, was also a professional soccer player.

Kazuma's Club Career Highlights
Kazuma Watanabe started his professional football journey with Yokohama F. Marinos. He made his first appearance in the J-League on March 7, 2009, and even scored his first goal in that game!
Breaking Records at Yokohama
His first year, 2009, was amazing. He scored 13 goals in the league, which was a new record for a rookie (a first-year player) in the J-League. Because of this fantastic start, he won the J.League Rookie of the Year award for 2009.
After his record-breaking first year, he continued to play well for Yokohama F. Marinos. In his next two seasons (2010 and 2011), he scored 15 goals in 54 league games.
Moving to FC Tokyo
In 2012, Kazuma moved to FC Tokyo. He spent three seasons playing in Japan's capital city. His best season with FC Tokyo was in 2013, when he scored an impressive 17 goals in 33 league games. His goals helped the team finish in eighth place in the league standings that year.
Time with Vissel Kobe
After his time in Tokyo, Kazuma joined Vissel Kobe in 2015. This move seemed to be a good change for him! He quickly started scoring goals again, getting 10 goals in 28 league games in his first season with Kobe.
The next year, 2016, was even better for him personally. He scored 12 goals in 33 league games. His strong performance helped Vissel Kobe achieve a great seventh-place finish in the league.
Playing for Gamba Osaka
In August 2018, Kazuma Watanabe moved to Gamba Osaka. He made a scoring debut for his new team, finding the net in his very first league match against Vegalta Sendai. He finished that season with three goals in 12 league appearances.
Later, in 2021, he joined Yokohama FC. He is now playing for Matsumoto Yamaga FC.
Playing for Japan
Kazuma Watanabe also had the honor of playing for his country, Japan. He made his first appearance for the senior national team on January 6, 2010. This was during a qualifying match for the 2011 AFC Asian Cup against Yemen. Japan won that exciting game 3–2!
