Kazumi Tsubota (坪田 和美, Tsubota Kazumi, born January 23, 1956) is a former Japanese football player. He was born on January 23, 1956, in Nagasaki, Japan. Tsubota played as a goalkeeper. He is known for his time with the Yanmar Diesel club and also played for the Japan national team.

Playing for Clubs

Kazumi Tsubota started his football journey after finishing university. He joined a team called Yanmar Diesel in 1979. This club was very successful. They won the top league championship in 1980. Yanmar Diesel also won the JSL Cup twice, in 1983 and 1984. Tsubota played 170 games in the league for Yanmar Diesel. He stopped playing professional football in 1992.

Playing for Japan
