Kazunori Yoshimoto (born April 24, 1988) is a Japanese former professional footballer. He played as a centre back. Yoshimoto spent most of his career playing for FC Tokyo. He also played for other teams on loan before finishing his career with Shimizu S-Pulse.

Kazunori Yoshimoto's Football Journey

Kazunori Yoshimoto started his football journey in the youth system of FC Tokyo. He played for their youth team from 2002 to 2006. This is where he developed his skills as a defender.

Playing for FC Tokyo

In 2007, Yoshimoto joined the main FC Tokyo team. He played for them for many years. During his time with FC Tokyo, he helped the team win some important trophies. They won the J.League Cup in 2009. They also won the Emperor's Cup in 2011. These were big achievements for the club.

Loan Spells and New Teams

Throughout his career, Yoshimoto also played for other teams. He joined these teams on a temporary basis, which is called a loan.

Time at FC Gifu and Mito HollyHock

From 2009 to 2010, he played for FC Gifu. Later, in 2012, he had a short loan spell with Mito HollyHock. These loans gave him more playing experience.
