Kazuya Matsuda was born in Higashiosaka, Japan. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career.
Playing for Gamba Osaka
In 1993, Kazuya Matsuda joined his local team, Gamba Osaka. This team plays in Japan's top football league. He played as a Midfielder, which is a player who helps both attack and defense. During his time at Gamba Osaka, he played in 13 matches.
Moving to New Teams
In 1996, Matsuda moved to a different club called Albirex Niigata. This team was in a lower league at the time. He played there for two years. In 1998, he joined another team called Sagawa Express Osaka. He played for them for one season. Kazuya Matsuda stopped playing professional football at the end of 1998.
Switching to Futsal
