Kazuyuki Morisaki (born May 9, 1981) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder. His twin brother, Koji Morisaki, is also a football player. Kazuyuki spent his entire professional career playing for Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

Playing for Clubs

Kazuyuki Morisaki was born in Hiroshima, Japan. He joined the J1 League club Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 1999. He had been part of their youth team before this.

Starting His Career

Morisaki made his first professional appearance in November 1999. From 2000, he became a key player. He played many matches as a central midfielder for a long time. In 2000, he was even named the Rookie of the Year.

Team Success and Retirement

Sanfrecce Hiroshima played in the top league, J1 League, for many years. They also spent some time in the J2 League in 2003 and 2008. Later in his career, Morisaki helped his team win the J1 League championship three times. These wins were in 2012, 2013, and 2015. He played fewer matches from 2017 onwards. Kazuyuki Morisaki retired from playing football at the end of the 2018 season.

Playing for Japan

In June 2001, Kazuyuki Morisaki was chosen to play for the Japan national under-20 football team. He joined them for the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship. In this big tournament, he played every minute of all three matches for his team.
