How Keehner Park Began
Keehner Park was created in 1976 after people voted to use money from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The park is named after the Keehner family, who were early farmers in West Chester.
A cool old log cabin, built way back in 1833, was moved to the park in 1990. It came all the way from Preble County and is now a special part of Keehner Park.
