Keisuke Funatani started his professional football journey in Japan. He played for different clubs, showing his skills as a midfielder.

Early Career at Júbilo Iwata

Funatani began his youth career with Júbilo Iwata from 2001 to 2003. He then joined their senior team in 2004. He played for Júbilo Iwata until 2011. During his time there, he also went on loan to Sagan Tosu in 2008.

Playing for Sagan Tosu

After his loan period, Funatani officially joined Sagan Tosu in 2012. He played with them for two years.

Time with Mito HollyHock

In 2013, Funatani moved to Mito HollyHock. He played for this club for many years, from 2013 until the end of 2018. He was an important player for them. His departure from Mito HollyHock was announced on December 3, 2018.

Joining FC Maruyasu Okazaki

On February 7, 2019, Keisuke Funatani joined FC Maruyasu Okazaki. He continues to play for this team.
