Keith Alexander Mitchell, born on August 6, 1969, is a former professional baseball player from the United States. He played as an Outfielder in Major League Baseball (MLB) for several teams. These teams included the Atlanta Braves, Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds, and Boston Red Sox. He also played in the KBO League for the Haitai Tigers in South Korea.

Starting His Professional Career
Keith Mitchell was chosen by the Atlanta Braves in the 4th round of the 1987 MLB draft. This was a big step for him into professional baseball. He made his first appearance with the Braves on July 23, 1991. In that season, he played in 48 games and had a strong batting average of .318. He even played as a left fielder for the Braves in the postseason that year.
Playing in Major League Baseball
Mitchell's time in Major League Baseball was spread out over several years. After his time with the Braves, he played 46 games with the Seattle Mariners in 1994. In 1996, he joined the Cincinnati Reds for 11 games. His MLB career finished in 1998 after he played 23 games with the Boston Red Sox.
