Kenji Koyano (小谷野 顕治) is a Japanese football player. He was born on June 22, 1988, in Itako, Ibaraki, Japan. Kenji plays as a Midfielder, which is a key position in football. Midfielders help both defend their goal and attack the opponent's goal.

Kenji's Football Journey
Kenji Koyano started playing football at a young age. He joined the youth team of Kashima Antlers in 1995. He played for their youth squad until 2006, learning many important skills.
Playing for Kashima Antlers
In 2007, Kenji joined the senior team of Kashima Antlers. This is one of Japan's most successful football clubs. He was part of the team that won the J1 League three times in a row, from 2007 to 2009. He also helped them win the Emperor's Cup in 2007 and 2010. In 2011, his team won the J.League Cup.
Moving to Other Clubs
After playing for Kashima Antlers, Kenji moved to Albirex Niigata in 2012. He played there for two seasons, until 2013. Later, he joined Mito HollyHock in 2014, where he played until 2015. In 2016, Kenji Koyano joined Gainare Tottori. He continued his professional football career with this club.
