Kenneth Bron, known as Kenny B, is a popular reggae singer from Suriname. He was born on November 1, 1961. Kenny B is famous for his music, which often blends reggae sounds. He sings in Dutch, English, and Sranan Tongo.

Kenny B's Life and Music
Kenny B used to be part of the Surinamese army. He found his musical inspiration from the legendary reggae artist Bob Marley. Kenny B began his singing career performing songs in English and Sranan. Later, he was encouraged to sing in Dutch, which helped him reach a wider audience.
In May 2015, Kenny B signed with the TopNotch music label. He released his album, also called Kenny B. This album quickly became very popular. It reached the top spot on the Dutch Album Chart and stayed there for one week.
Hit Songs and Collaborations
Kenny B's second single from the album was Parijs (which means 'Paris'). This song tells the story of meeting a Dutch girl in Paris who could barely speak French. Parijs was a huge hit. It stayed at number one on the Dutch Top 40 chart for seven weeks. The song was so popular that many funny parody versions were made.
In 2016, Kenny B worked with other artists on new music. He recorded a song with rapper and TV presenter Ali B and R&B singer Brace. He also made a translated cover version of the song 54-46 That's My Number with the well-known pop and reggae band Doe Maar.
Voice Acting and TV Appearances
Besides singing, Kenny B has also used his voice for movies. He provided the Dutch voice for the character Tamatoa in the Disney movie Moana, which came out in 2016. He also wrote a song for the children's choir Kinderen voor Kinderen.
In 2017, Kenny B took part in a popular TV show called Beste Zangers (which means 'Best Singers'). On this show, different artists sing each other's songs.
Kenny B performs his music in many places, both in Dutch-speaking countries and around the world. He is also an important ambassador for copyright for other artists from Suriname. In 2019, he released a new album called Hoe Dan Ook. He also had his tenth number one hit on the Surinamese radio station Radio 10 Magic FM.
