Kenny was chosen by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1984 NBA draft. He played in the NBA for four seasons, from 1984 to 1988. During his NBA career, he played for the Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers.

Early Life and College Career

Kenny Fields was born in Iowa City, Iowa. He went to Verbum Dei High School in Los Angeles, California. In high school, he was recognized as a talented player. In 1980, he was named a Second-team Parade All-American.

After high school, Kenny went to UCLA to play college basketball. He played for the UCLA Bruins from 1980 to 1984. He was a very successful college player. In 1983, he was named the Pac-10 Player of the Year. He was also chosen for the First-team All-Pac-10 three times, from 1982 to 1984. In 1983, he was named a Third-team All-American by the Associated Press.

Playing in the NBA

In 1984, Kenny Fields was chosen by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the NBA draft. He was the 21st player picked overall. He played for the Bucks for two seasons.

His best season in the NBA was during the 1986–87 season. That year, he played for both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers.
