Kenta Hoshihara (星原 健太, Hoshihara Kenta, born May 1, 1988 in Daitō, Osaka Prefecture) is a Japanese football player. He plays for Fujieda MYFC. Kenta is known for playing both as a forward and a defender.

Kenta Hoshihara's Football Journey
Kenta Hoshihara started playing football at a young age. From 1995 to 2000, he was part of Shijonawate FC. He then joined the youth team of Gamba Osaka in 2001, staying there until 2006.
Playing for Gamba Osaka
Kenta began his professional career with Gamba Osaka in 2007. He played for this team until 2013. During his time there, he helped them win some big championships.
Loan to Mito HollyHock
In 2012, Kenta went on loan to Mito HollyHock. This meant he played for them for a short time. He played 12 games and scored 1 goal during this period.
Moving to New Teams
After leaving Gamba Osaka, Kenta played for several other Japanese clubs. From 2014 to 2016, he was with Giravanz Kitakyushu. He played over 100 games for them, scoring 2 goals.
He then moved to Matsumoto Yamaga FC for 2017 and 2018. Later in 2018, he joined Thespakusatsu Gunma.
Joining Fujieda MYFC
On January 8, 2019, Kenta Hoshihara joined his current team, Fujieda MYFC. He continues to play for them today.
