Kenta Hoshihara was born on May 1, 1988, in Daitō, Osaka, Japan. He started playing football at a young age. His journey in professional football began in 2007.
Early Career and Youth Teams
From 1995 to 2000, Kenta played for Shijonawate FC. He then joined the Gamba Osaka Youth team. He played there from 2001 to 2006. This is where he developed his skills.
Playing for Gamba Osaka
Kenta Hoshihara joined Gamba Osaka as a professional player in 2007. He played for this team until 2013. During his time with Gamba Osaka, he won several important trophies. These included the J.League Cup in 2007. He also won the Emperor's Cup in both 2008 and 2009. In 2008, his team also won the AFC Champions League. This is a big tournament for clubs in Asia.
