Starting His Professional Career

In 2001, Kentaro joined Cerezo Osaka, a club in Japan's top football league, the J1 League. Even though he was part of the team, he didn't get to play in any official matches during this time.

In September 2002, he moved to Sagawa Express Osaka. This club played in the Japan Football League (JFL), which is a lower division. Here, Kentaro got his chance to play, appearing in several matches.

Playing in J2 League

In 2003, Kentaro joined Montedio Yamagata, a team in the J2 League. This league is just below the J1 League. He played in many games that year, often coming on as a substitute. However, his playing time became less in 2004 and 2005.

In June 2009, Kentaro became a regular player for Kataller Toyama and played in many games until the end of that season. However, in 2010, his chances to play decreased again. He decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2010 season.
