Early Life and Youth Career
Kentin Mahé was born in Paris, France. He started playing handball when he was just six years old! He played for youth clubs like AS Monaco. Later, he briefly played for ASPTT Nice.
In 2000, when Kentin was nine, his family moved to Germany. His dad, Pascal Mahé, was also a handball player. He took on coaching jobs in Germany. Kentin grew up there and kept playing handball.
Kentin's grandmother is from Sweden. When he was 18, Kentin lived in Stockholm for a few months. He even played youth handball for a top Swedish team, Hammarby IF.
Professional Handball Career
Kentin Mahé returned to Germany in 2009. He made his first professional appearance for DHC Rheinland. After that, he played for other German clubs. These included VfL Gummersbach and HSV Hamburg.
In 2015, Kentin joined a top German club, SG Flensburg-Handewitt. Here, he became a world-class player. He then moved to the Hungarian club Telekom Veszprém in 2018. He played there until 2024. Now, he is back playing for VfL Gummersbach.
