Kenzo Ohashi (大橋 謙三, Ohashi Kenzo, April 21, 1934 – December 21, 2015) was a famous Japanese football player and manager. He was born on April 21, 1934, in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. He passed away on December 21, 2015, at the age of 80. Kenzo Ohashi played as a forward and even represented his country on the Japan national team.

Kenzo Ohashi's Club Career

Kenzo Ohashi started his football journey after graduating from Waseda University. He played for a team called Yuasa Batteries. Later, he joined his local club, Toyo Industries. This team became very successful!

In 1965, Toyo Industries joined a new and important league called the Japan Soccer League. Kenzo Ohashi played 3 games in this league before he retired in 1967. During his time, his team, Toyo Industries, won the league championship three times in a row! They won in 1965, 1966, and 1967. They also won the Emperor's Cup twice, in 1965 and 1967.

Playing for Japan's National Team

Kenzo Ohashi also had the honor of playing for the Japan national team. In May 1958, he was chosen to play in the 1958 Asian Games. He made his first appearance for the national team on May 26, 1958, in a game against the Philippines. He played one game for his country.

Kenzo Ohashi as a Coach

After he stopped playing football, Kenzo Ohashi became a coach. In 1971, he became the manager for his old club, Toyo Industries. He took over from Yukio Shimomura. Kenzo Ohashi coached the team until 1975.
