Kerim Frei Koyunlu (born 19 November 1993) is a talented footballer who plays as a winger. He currently plays for Elazığspor. Kerim was born in Austria, but he plays for the Turkey national team. Before joining Elazığspor, he played for several other clubs. These include Fulham, Cardiff City, İstanbul Başakşehir, Beşiktaş, Birmingham City, and Maccabi Haifa. He also represented Switzerland in youth football up to the under-21 level.

Kerim Frei has played for many different football clubs throughout his career. Let's look at some of his most important teams and moments.
Playing for Fulham
Kerim Frei started his professional career at Fulham. He made his first team debut on 7 July 2011. This was in a Europa League match against NSÍ Runavík from the Faroe Islands. He came on as a substitute in the 72nd minute.
Huw Jennings, a coach at Fulham, was very excited about Kerim's debut. He said that Kerim was a confident player who "explodes" when he gets the ball. This showed how much potential Kerim had even at a young age.
Kerim then got his first start for Fulham on 14 July 2011. He played on the right wing in another Europa League match. His Premier League debut happened on 10 December 2011. He came on as a substitute against Swansea City.
He scored his first goal for Fulham in a Europa League game against Odense BK. He signed a new contract with Fulham on 16 March 2012, which lasted until 2015. In April 2012, he even won the Man of the Match award for his great performance against Chelsea.
Loan to Cardiff City
On 26 October 2012, Kerim joined Cardiff City on a short loan. He played three matches for them before returning to Fulham on 22 November.
Joining Beşiktaş in Turkey
Kerim Frei moved to the Turkish club Beşiktaş on 6 September 2013. He signed a five-year contract with them. He played his first league game for Beşiktaş on 22 September 2013.
He scored his first league goals for Beşiktaş more than a year later. He scored two goals in one game against Kayseri Erciyesspor. This showed his ability to score important goals for his team.
Time at Birmingham City
On 20 January 2017, Kerim Frei returned to English football. He signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Birmingham City. He made his debut the very next day.
Even though he didn't play in many starting lineups, he scored a memorable goal. On 14 April, he scored a fantastic free kick from 28 yards against Rotherham United. This goal was so good that it won the club's "Goal of the Season" award!
Moving to İstanbul Başakşehir
After only six months with Birmingham City, Kerim Frei went back to Turkey. He signed a four-year contract with İstanbul Başakşehir on 21 July 2017. He made his league debut for them in August 2017.
Loan Spells: Maccabi Haifa and FC Emmen
Kerim spent the second half of the 2018–19 season on loan at Maccabi Haifa in Israel. Later, in January 2020, he joined the Dutch club Emmen on another loan.
Permanent Move to Emmen
On 16 January 2021, Kerim Frei officially joined Emmen permanently. He signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the Dutch club.
Playing for Manisa FK
On 4 July 2023, Kerim Frei joined Manisa FK. This club plays in the Turkish 1.Lig. He signed a two-year deal with an option for an extra year.
Representing His Country
Kerim Frei first played for Switzerland's youth teams. However, in June 2012, he decided to switch and play for the Turkey national team. He represented Turkey at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
