Kerry Kersh's Music Journey
Kerry Kersh started her music career at age 19. She performed on a local radio show, where a talent scout named Don Light noticed her. He helped her get a contract to write songs for a company called Cal IV Entertainment.
One of the first songs Kerry wrote was "'Til Nothing Comes Between Us." This song became a big hit for country singer John Michael Montgomery in 2002. It reached the top 20 on the music charts.
In 2004, Kerry signed with Lyric Street Records, a record label. She worked with a well-known producer named Byron Gallimore. She released a song called "Cowgirls." Even though "Cowgirls" made it onto the Billboard country charts, her full album was never released. After this, she left the record label.
Kerry married country singer David Kersh on May 23, 2009, in her hometown of Comanche, Texas. They have a child together.
