Playing in the Minor Leagues
Davis started his minor league career in 2009. He played for a few teams, including the Helena Brewers and the Arizona League Brewers. In 2010, he played a full season for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. He hit 22 home runs and had a .280 batting average.

Time with the Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers added Davis to their main roster in 2012. He made his MLB debut on opening day in 2013. A few days later, he got his first MLB hit, a double. After a slow start, he was sent back to the minor leagues.
But Davis was called back up in July. He became the starting left fielder for the Brewers. He hit his first MLB home run on July 23. He finished the year with 11 home runs in just 136 times at bat.
