Kiara, also known as Kiara Schatzi or Kiara Mulan, is the stage name for Dimitri Nana-Côté (born July 28, 1998). She is a Canadian drag queen from Montreal, Quebec. Kiara is best known for competing in the first season of Canada's Drag Race.

Kiara's Early Life and Education
Dimitri Nana-Côté grew up in Quebec City. His father is Black Canadian, and his mother is Québécois. He later moved to Montreal to study film at Concordia University.
Kiara started performing drag at Cabaret Mado. She even performed as Mel B in a Spice Girls tribute show. She chose the name Kiara from the character Kiara in The Lion King.
Kiara's Career Highlights
Kiara became famous after appearing on the first season of Canada's Drag Race. She was eliminated in the fifth episode. This happened after she did an impression of Mariah Carey in a challenge called Snatch Game.
However, her "Lip Sync for Your Life" performance was very memorable. She performed against Priyanka to Céline Dion's song "I Drove All Night". Many people called it one of the best lip sync battles ever on Drag Race.
Special Performances and Music
Before Canada's Drag Race aired, Kiara hosted a special event. It was called Sainte-Jeanne, an LGBTQ-themed Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day celebration. Other artists like Safia Nolin also took part.
Kiara also performed in the online version of Fierté Montréal's Drag Superstars show. She danced to Marie-Mai's song "Qui prendra ma place". Her video ended with her dancing in front of the Montreal Biosphere.
After her season of Canada's Drag Race ended, Kiara joined a tour. It was called Canada's Drag Race Live at the Drive-In.
In October 2020, Kiara appeared in a music video. It was for Cœur de pirate's song "T'es belle". In the same month, Kiara released her own first song. It was a bilingual song called "Straight to Your Heart" (or "Droit sur ton cœur" in French). She worked with Matante Alex and Marc-André Sauvageau on it.
Kiara also had a small acting role in a TV show. She appeared in an episode called "The Son" from the 2020 series Little America.
Ballroom Culture
Kiara is also active in ballroom culture. She is part of the Canadian chapter of the Imperial Dynasty Kiki House of Hua Mulan. In this group, she holds the title of "Princess".
