Kid-E-Cats facts for kids

Kid-E-Cats (which means "Three Cats" in Russian) is a fun animated TV show from Russia. It's made for younger kids by CTC Media and Studio Metrafilms. You can watch it in many countries, including on Nick Jr., where it started in late 2017.

About the Show

The show follows three curious kitten siblings: Cookie, Pudding, and their younger sister Candy. They live in a peaceful place called Catspolis, also known as Meowli City. Just like many kids, they love to play, enjoy sweets, and explore the world around them.

Every day, their active minds lead them into new adventures. With helpful advice from their loving parents, the kittens always find a way to solve any problems they face. Everything usually ends happily! They also have lots of fun with their friends, learning important lessons about life.

Meet the Characters

The Main Kittens

• Cookie (Russian: Korzhik) - Cookie is a very energetic and active kitten. He's always ready for a new adventure and loves to suggest bold ideas. He enjoys sports like football and badminton, and he's good at archery, just like his grandma. He's the middle child in the family.
• Pudding (Russian: Kompot) - Pudding is a smart and curious kitten who loves to read. He knows a lot of facts, even if he hasn't experienced them yet! He enjoys solving puzzles and riddles. Pudding also loves sweets, and you might often find them in his pockets. He is the oldest kitten.
• Candy (Russian: Karamelka) - Candy is the youngest kitten, but she is often the most sensible. She's very clever when it comes to practical things. Even though she's smaller than her brothers, she's often more mature and emotionally smart. Candy often figures out how to solve tricky situations. She sometimes acts like her mom, helping her brothers get along. Her special phrase is "I know what to do!"

The Parents and Grandparents

• Dad / Daddy - He is the father of the Kid-E-Cats. He works at a candy shop and is sometimes a bit clumsy.
• Mom / Mommy - She is the mother of the Kid-E-Cats. She often cooks delicious meals for the family.
• Grandma / Granny - She is the grandmother of the Kid-E-Cats. She loves to cook and used to enjoy playing a lot when she was a kid.
• Grandpa - He is the grandfather of the Kid-E-Cats and Dad's father.

Other Family Members

• Uncle Muffin (Russian: Dyadya Keks) - He is the Kid-E-Cats' uncle and Dad's brother. He is very educated.
• Aunt Cinnamon (Russian: Tyotya Koritsa) - She is another aunt of the cats.

The Friends

• Boris (Russian: Nudik) - Boris is a gray cat who is one of the Kid-E-Cats' friends. He loves circus acts and being a clown.
• Cupcake (Russian: Lapochka) - Cupcake is a pink cat and a friend of the kittens. She loves beautiful things.
• Smudge (Russian: Sajik) - Smudge is a black cat and a friend of the Kid-E-Cats. He enjoys things that are a bit spooky or scary.
• Chase (Russian: Gosha) - Chase is a black and white cat and another friend. He is very interested in space and galaxies.
• Dart (Russian: Shurup) - Dart is a red cat who is good at math. You can even see the famous equation E=MC2 on his jumper!
• Mustard (Russian: Gorchitsa) - Mustard is a violet cat and a friend. She likes sweets, but sometimes she can be a bit grumpy.
• Bow (Russian: Bantik) - Bow is a blue cat who loves fairy tales and music.
• Raisin (Russian: Izyum) - Raisin is a yellow cat and a friend of the Kid-E-Cats. He loves to paint.
