Kidd Springs is a cool neighborhood located in the northern part of Oak Cliff, which is an area in Dallas, Texas, USA. It's named after James Kidd, who bought land here in the 1870s. This land included a natural spring, which is now called Kidd Springs.

This area is also home to a popular park and recreation spot with the same name. The park started out as a private area in 1895. That's when the Kidd Springs Fishing & Boating Club began building a small lake fed by the spring. Later, in 1947, the park became part of the official Dallas Parks and Recreation system.

Exploring the Kidd Springs Neighborhood

The Kidd Springs neighborhood has clear boundaries. On the east side, you'll find Zang Boulevard. Tyler Street marks the western edge. Colorado Boulevard is to the north, and West Davis Street (also known as SH 180) is on the south.

Inside the Kidd Springs area, there's a special place called the Miller and Stemmons Historic District. This district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This means it's recognized for its important history and unique buildings.
