Early Life and Rugby Start

Kierran Moseley grew up in Cloncurry, Queensland. He is an Indigenous Australian. He began playing junior rugby league for a local team called the Cloncurry Bulls. To help his rugby career grow, he later moved to Townsville.

While in Townsville, Kierran was noticed by Garth Brennan, a coach for the Penrith Panthers. This led him to join the Panthers' junior team, which was part of the National Youth Competition (NYC).

Junior and Early Professional Career

Playing for the Panthers

From 2013 to 2014, Kierran played for the Penrith Panthers' NYC team. He showed great skill early on. On April 20, 2013, he was chosen to play for the Queensland Under-20s team. This was a big step for his career.

Later that year, on October 6, 2013, Kierran helped the Panthers win the 2013 NYC Grand Final. They beat the New Zealand Warriors in an exciting match. Soon after, he also played for the Junior Kangaroos against the Junior Kiwis. He played for the Queensland Under-20s team again on May 3, 2014.

First NRL Games

In 2014, Kierran made his debut in the National Rugby League (NRL). This was in Round 25 of the 2014 NRL season for the Penrith Panthers. He played against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. That same year, he also helped the Panthers' reserve team win the 2014 New South Wales Cup.

After his time with the Panthers, Kierran signed a two-year contract. This deal was with the Gold Coast Titans and started in 2015.

Professional Highlights

All Stars and Titans Debut

On February 13, 2015, Kierran had another special moment. He played for the Indigenous All Stars team. This was against the NRL All Stars in the yearly All Stars match. It's an important game that celebrates Indigenous players.

In Round 1 of the 2015 NRL season, Kierran played his first game for the Gold Coast Titans. He made his debut for the team against the Wests Tigers.

Later Career Success

In 2016, Kierran moved to the Tweed Seagulls in the Queensland Cup. He then played for other teams like Townsville and Ipswich.

In 2022, Kierran joined the Norths Devils. He was a key part of their team that won the Queensland Cup that season. He continued his success by captaining the Norths Devils to another championship in 2024. They also won the 2024 NRL State Championship. This State Championship win was Kierran's first after trying three times. He had played in the final for Penrith in 2014 and Norths in 2022.
