Kierran Moseley, born on May 14, 1994, is an Australian professional rugby league player. He plays as a hooker. He currently plays for the Norths Devils in the Queensland Cup. Before this, he played for the Gold Coast Titans and Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League (NRL).

Early Life and Background

Kierran Moseley was born in Cloncurry, Queensland, Australia. He is an Indigenous Australian. He started playing junior rugby league for a team called the Cloncurry Bulls. Later, he moved to Townsville to continue his rugby league journey.

While in Townsville, he was noticed by Garth Brennan. Brennan was the coach for the Penrith Panthers' NYC team. This led to Moseley joining the Panthers.

Playing Career Highlights

Starting Out: Youth Teams

Kierran Moseley played for the Penrith Panthers' NYC team in 2013 and 2014. On April 20, 2013, he played for the Queensland Under-20s team. He also helped the Panthers win the 2013 NYC Grand Final on October 6, 2013. They won against the New Zealand Warriors.

A week later, on October 13, 2013, he played for the Junior Kangaroos. This team played against the Junior Kiwis. He played for the Queensland Under-20s team again on May 3, 2014.

NRL Debut and First Teams

In 2014, Kierran Moseley made his first appearance in the NRL. This was in Round 25 of the 2014 NRL season for the Penrith Panthers. They played against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. After his NRL debut, he also won the 2014 New South Wales Cup with the Panthers' reserve team.

On November 17, 2014, Moseley signed a two-year contract. He joined the Gold Coast Titans for the 2015 season.

Playing for the All Stars

On February 13, 2015, Moseley played in a special game. He represented the Indigenous All Stars team. They played against the NRL All Stars in the yearly All Stars match. Soon after, in Round 1 of the 2015 NRL season, he played his first game for the Titans. This game was against the Wests Tigers.

Later Career and Championships

After playing for the Titans, Moseley joined the Tweed Seagulls in the Queensland Cup in 2016. He then played for other teams like Townsville and Ipswich.

In 2022, Moseley joined the Norths Devils. He was part of the team that won the Queensland Cup that season. In 2024, he became the captain of the Norths Devils. He led them to win another Queensland Cup premiership. They also won the 2024 NRL State Championship. This State Championship win was Moseley's first after trying three times. He had played in the 2014 final with Penrith and the 2022 final with Norths.
