Killer Croc (whose real name is Waylon Jones) is a famous character from the Batman comic books. He is published by DC Comics. He looks like a mix between a Lizard and a Crocodile. Killer Croc uses his incredible strength to fight and is also a powerful swimmer. He often tries to defeat Batman.

Before he became Killer Croc, Waylon Jones was a wrestler. He had a very rare genetic condition. This condition made him look like a reptile and gave him superhuman strength. As his body changed, he became very angry and turned to a life of crime. Over time, he started acting more like an animal, which made him a very dangerous person.

Killer Croc was created by Gerry Conway, Don Newton, and Gene Colan. He first appeared briefly in Detective Comics #523 in February 1983. His full introduction came in Detective Comics #524 in March 1983. He has become one of Batman's most well-known enemies. He is part of the group of villains known as Batman's rogues gallery.

Aron Kincaid provided his voice in Batman: The Animated Series. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje played him in the 2016 movie Suicide Squad. Even though he is usually shown as a supervillain, sometimes he acts as an antihero. This means he might do good things, even if he's not a hero.

Killer Croc's Amazing Powers

Killer Croc has many special abilities that make him a tough opponent. His skin is incredibly hard. It's so tough that most normal attacks, even bullets from far away, can't hurt him.

He also has amazing super-strength. For example, he could easily rip a heavy bank vault door right off its hinges. Killer Croc can heal very quickly too. If he gets hurt, he can fix himself and even grow back lost body parts or teeth.

He is super fast, especially when he is moving underwater. He can also see through his special crocodile eyelids, which protect his eyes. Killer Croc has a very strong sense of smell. Once he knows someone's scent, he can track them down from miles away.

Killer Croc's Weakness

Despite his many powers, Killer Croc has a big weakness. In most stories, he isn't very smart. He usually tries to solve problems just by using his brute strength. This allows Batman to outsmart him. Batman often uses his intelligence and planning to defeat Croc, rather than just fighting him head-on.

Batman often describes Killer Croc as more of an animal than a man. This is because Croc acts mostly on instinct. He rarely takes time to plan or think through his actions. This is different from his first appearances, where he was shown as a clever criminal. Back then, he was able to rise through the ranks of Gotham's crime world.
