Kim Eun-jung (born in 1972) is a talented South Korean writer. She is famous for writing exciting books for children and young teens. Her stories are enjoyed by many young readers.

Her Journey as a Writer
Kim Eun-jung was born in 1972 in a place called Paju, in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. She started her writing career and quickly gained recognition for her wonderful stories.
In 2010, Kim Eun-jung won a special award called the Kim Man-jung Literary Prize. She received this prize for her story titled The King of Thieves Welcomes a Thief. This was a big achievement for her!
The very next year, in 2011, she won another important award. This was the 9th Pureun Literary Prize. She won it for her story called Magic Trick. This story was later included in a collection of children's stories. The collection was named My Childish Father. Other children's writers also had their stories in this book.
Kim Eun-jung continued to write more books. In December 2011, she released a book about a young character named Daepungi. The story was about Daepungi trying to earn money to buy a video game console. It also showed the challenges he faced with his mother because of this.
The next year, she wrote another novel for young readers. It was called The Day He Didn't Want To Write a Book Report. A newspaper called the Busan Ilbo even wrote a review about it.
Her most recent book is very interesting. It is titled Special Mission! Let's Protect Ieodo. This book talks about a marine research station. This station is on an island called Ieodo. The book encourages young readers to learn more about this important place.
