Kim Erica Richards (born September 19, 1964) is an American actress and TV star. She started acting when she was a child. She became famous for her roles in Nanny and the Professor and the Witch Mountain movies.
In 2010, Kim Richards joined the TV show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She was a main cast member for five seasons. She has also appeared as a guest in later seasons.
Early Life and Family
Kim Richards was born on September 19, 1964. Her birthplace was Mineola, New York, in the United States. Her parents were Kathleen Mary and Kenneth Edwin Richards. They separated in 1972.
Kim has two sisters, Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton. Kathy is her half-sister. Her nieces are famous personalities Nicky and Paris Hilton. Kim Richards has both Welsh and Irish family roots.
Acting Career
Kim Richards began her career as a baby. She appeared in a TV commercial for Firth Carpet. From 1970 to 1971, she starred as Prudence Everett. This was in the TV series Nanny and the Professor.
She also starred in several Disney movies. These included Escape to Witch Mountain and Return from Witch Mountain. In 1974 and 1976, she was in Disney's Whiz Kid Capers series. These were TV movies shown on The Wonderful World of Disney.

Kim and her sister Kyle played sisters in the movie The Car (1977). She also worked with her Witch Mountain co-star Ike Eisenmann. They were in the TV movie Devil Dog: The Hound of Hell (1978).
Kim Richards appeared in many TV shows. These included Emergency!, Diff'rent Strokes, and Little House on the Prairie. As a young adult, she acted in Meatballs Part II (1984) and Tuff Turf (1985).
In 2006, she had a supporting role in the film Black Snake Moan. She also made a small appearance in Race to Witch Mountain (2009). She played a waitress named Tina, similar to her character Tia in the earlier Witch Mountain films.
In 2010, Kim Richards became a regular on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She was on the show with her sister Kyle. After five seasons, she took a break from being a full-time cast member. She returned as a guest star in later seasons.
In 2023, Kim and her half-sister Kathy Hilton appeared together. They were on Entertainment Tonight to talk about their family.
Personal Life
In 1985, Kim Richards married Monty Brinson. He was a professional poker player. They had one daughter together, Brooke Ashley, born in 1986. Kim and Monty divorced in 1988 but remained good friends.
Later in 1988, she married Gregg Davis. He was the son of a petroleum businessman. They had two children: Whitney Nicole (born 1990) and Chad Austin (born 1991). Kim and Gregg divorced in 1991.
After her second marriage, Kim was in a relationship with John Jackson. They were together from 1992 to 1996. They had a daughter, Kimberly Collette Jackson, born in 1995.
From 2012 to 2018, she dated businessman Wynn Katz. They appeared on the TV show Marriage Boot Camp in 2018. Kim remained very close with her first husband, Monty Brinson. She helped care for him when he was sick. Monty passed away in 2016.
Kim Richards is also a grandmother. She has two grandsons and a granddaughter. They are from her oldest daughter, Brooke.
