Kim You-Jin began his professional football journey in South Korea. From 2002 to 2004, he played for Suwon Samsung Bluewings. He then moved to Busan I'Park in 2005. During his time with Busan, he played in 21 matches.
Playing in Japan
In 2006, Kim You-Jin moved to Japan. He joined Sagan Tosu, a team in the J. League 2. He had a busy season there, playing in 40 games. He also scored 3 goals for Sagan Tosu.
Back to Korea and Beyond
After his time in Japan, Kim You-Jin returned to South Korea. He rejoined Busan I'Park in 2007. He played for them for three more seasons, until 2009.
