Kim Yoon-ok (Hangul: 김윤옥; Hanja: 金潤玉; born March 26, 1947) is an important figure from South Korea. She served as the First Lady of South Korea from 2008 to 2013. She held this role because she is married to former president Lee Myung-bak.

Kim Yoon-ok's Early Life and Education
Kim Yoon-ok was born on March 26, 1947. She grew up in South Korea. She finished high school at Daegu Girls' High School in 1966.
Her University Studies
After high school, Kim Yoon-ok went to Ewha Womans University. This is a well-known university in South Korea. In 1970, she earned her degree there. Her studies focused on Health Education and Management.
Family Life
On December 19, 1970, Kim Yoon-ok married Lee Myung-bak. Together, they have four children. They have one son and three daughters. Her family also runs a construction business in Daegu. Before her husband became president, the family lived in Gahoedong.
Continuing Education and Leadership Roles
Kim Yoon-ok always believed in learning more. She took part in several special programs. These programs helped her develop strong leadership skills.
Advanced Leadership Programs
In 1995, she completed the first Advanced Leadership Program for Women. She did this at her old university, Ewha Womans University. The next year, in 1996, she finished another program. This was the Women's Top Management Program at Yonsei University. In 2001, she completed a Leadership Program. This program was at Sookmyung Women's University.
Leading Alumni Associations
Her dedication to learning led her to leadership roles. In 2011, she became the President of the Alumni Association. This was for the Women's Top Management Program at Yonsei University. This shows her commitment to her education and helping others.
