Kimberly Huie is an actress from Jamaica and Canada. She is most famous for playing the main character in the TV show Liberty Street.
Early Life and School
Kimberly Huie was born in Kingston, Jamaica. When she was five years old, her family moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her father, Barry Huie, was an engineer (someone who designs and builds things) and also imported books. He helped start an association for people who went to Kingston College. Kimberly's father was also a cousin of the famous Jamaican painter Albert Huie.
Kimberly started acting when she was in high school. However, she first went to the University of Toronto. There, she earned a degree in history and political science before becoming a professional actress.
Acting Career
Kimberly Huie has had many roles in both television shows and movies. Her most well-known role was as a main character in the TV series Liberty Street.
She has also appeared in many other popular TV shows. These include Chicago Hope, Grey's Anatomy, Rookie Blue, and Self Made. Kimberly has also acted in films like Deep Impact and Passenger Side.
Besides TV and movies, Kimberly has performed on stage in plays. Before her role in Liberty Street, she was known for a play called Urban Donnellys. She helped create this play with a group of other actors and artists. In 2013, she acted in a play called As Ever in Nova Scotia, Canada.
