The History of Kime
Kime was named after an early settler in the area, a man named Samuel Kime. A post office was opened in Kime in 1904. This post office served the community for many years, helping people send and receive mail. However, it eventually closed down in 1937. After the post office closed, the town slowly faded away, becoming what is now known as a ghost town.
