History of Kingman
The Kingman post office, which helps send and receive mail, was first opened in 1886. Kingman officially became a town in 1900. At that time, it joined with a nearby village called Fountainville.
Geography of Kingman
Kingman is situated on State Road 234. This road is about two miles west of U.S. Route 41. The town covers a total area of about 0.66 square miles (1.71 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
